LESSON POLICIES (By registering you agree to these policies):

  • Lesson Time & Number of Lessons

    • Purchasing lessons is purchasing a lesson time in my schedule, not a number of lessons. Once a schedule is determined, it will be expected that lessons will continue weekly at the agreed upon time.

    • Lessons are expected to be consistent each week. If a consistent lesson time is not possible due to an inability to fit into my schedule openings, then an inconsistent lesson schedule could be worked out. This would entail taking the schedule week by week as openings appear in my schedule. No consistent schedule can be guaranteed if this option is taken/necessary.

    • ABSENCES:

      • One excused absence (can be made up) will be allowed per academic session (Session 1: Sept-Dec, Session 2: Jan-May, Session 3: June-August). An excused absence must be received within 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.

      • UNEXCUSED ABSENCES: Any lesson cancelled without 24 hours notice will be considered an unexcused absence. Unexcused absences will be paid with no refunds. If a student refuses to pay for an unexcused absence, lessons will cease.

        • Absence policies apply no matter the circumstances of the absence.

  • Lesson Expectations:

    • Prompt communication is expected. Emails (primary lesson contact method) should receive a response within 24 hours. Texts and phone calls are acceptable when necessary for quick communication.

    • Students will be expected to practice as discussed in lessons and complete assignments in a timely manner.

    • If these expectations are not met then a decision may be made to discontinue lessons until full commitment is possible.
